Index of Subjects Hi - also to add to this thread on Sunday prior to the storm I heard a Robin trilling and then spotted him . This was in downtown Dartmouth . Cheers , DB -----Original Message----- From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca]On Behalf Of P.L. A Raven in flight was giving that odd hollow knocking sound, which I believe is a courtship call. I also heard Dark-eyed Juncos making their trilling songs, the first I've heard this year. Today, while walking home at lunch time, I saw a Rock Pigeon collecting twigs along the sidewalk. I know that they breed almost year round, but I couldn't help but see it as another sign of spring.
