HI there,

On Sunday, despite the impending snow storm, I heard some
more bird song. A Raven in flight was giving that odd hollow knocking
sound, which I believe is a courtship call. I also heard Dark-eyed
Juncos making their trilling songs, the first I've heard this
year. Today, while walking home at lunch time, I saw a Rock Pigeon
collecting twigs along the sidewalk. I know that they breed almost
year round, but I couldn't help but see it as another sign of spring.

         Cheers,

         Patricia L. Chalmers
