You may not be seeing many campers or hikers out there because they = may have gone further afield. or perhaps your particular destination may = be currently out of fashion. And how about brand-new nature-related = activities such as Geocaching, mountain biking, sea kayaking, or = surfing? What about the trail building revolution that has hit the = province maybe 5 -10 years ago, and all the trail walkers and = bicyclists? Where were they a generation or two ago? There have been = some major shifts in the way we enjoy "nature" in general. I wouldn't be = all that pessimistic....
