Hi Everyone;

My husband and I went to Sheffield Mills yesterday,
and on the way we stopped at Jim Wolford's house at 91
Wickwire Ave. in Wolfville. To my delight we saw the
Clay-coloured Sparrow!

Lots of Eagles and Red-tailed Hawks. Also saw a single
Pine Grosbeak, loads of Common Redpolls, no obvious
Hoarys, and a Purple Finch.

Ran into James Hirtle, Pat Gladman, Dorothy Poole and
David Walmark. They gave me directions to the
Carolina Wren in Kentville, but we didn't see it. I
was reluctant to go into their backyard - but perhaps
the homeowners wouldn't have minded?

Cheers;
Suzanne
