Hi All,

Two flocks of a dozen Pine Siskins and Common Redpolls each, put in an =
appearance at my feeder station Sunday morning. they left as the weather =
started to clear, to who knows where.

Did some shooting along the Lighthouse route in the afternoon ending up =
at Prospect to photograph the sunset.=20

Saw a pair of beautiful Harlequin Ducks in the surf, and a Great =
Cormorant doing a flyby at Prospect,=20
it's hip (breeding) patch was quite evident. several Bufflehead were =
seen along the route as well.=20

As I was hiking back to the car at dusk, on the Indian Point Road? I saw =
a Short Eared Owl alternately hunting and perching on the rocks in the =
area below the houses.=20

All in all a great day, and have I posted some images from it on my =
blog, with the address provided below.

Cheers,
Gary Murray
