The Varied Thrush is coming to the front yard of house #4841 Rt 210 in =
Greenfield. If coming from the west the house is about a mile from the =
Medway River. I saw a picture of the bird last night in the Lighthouse =
Log (South Shore newspaper) with only the caption mentioning Greenfield =
and the name of the photographer. With newspaper in hand and the help of =
the two local store proprietors I was able to find the photographer and =
after waiting a couple of hours see the bird. It is a beautiful male. =
Birders are welcome, in fact Susan was hoping that once her picture of =
the bird appeared there would be birders. The bird has been around since =
September!

The bird appeared with Blue jays, followed by a flock of Red-winged =
blackbirds and Mourning doves. There are some Cowbirds in the area too.
