Dec. 23, 2007 - David Silverberg called to say that his CAROLINA WREN (very probable from his description) was just at his feeders behind his studio at 17 Hillside Ave. in Wolfville. To get there, from Main St., drive up Gaspereau Ave. to the 3rd street to the right; turn right on Prospect St., then left at Hillside Ave., and look for #17 on the left (east) -- the feeder is in the back -- knock on the front door to see if David is there first. He had told me about the wren but had not seen it for a while when we chatted about his feeder sightings; this is at least his third sighting now, and he was supposed to get me dates for his earlier sightings, which may have included out Wolfville Count Week. As I'm writing this, Richard Stern is on my deck trying to see and photograph the clay-coloured sparrow, which is still here today along with the imm. white-crowned sparrow. Cheers :-) from Jim in Wolfville, 542-9204 --------------------- Jim (James W.)
