I didn't really think it was a mole. Has eyes and no thingy on nose.  It is 
charcoal grey, doesn't look like a mouse I am familiar with so maybe a young 
small rat (?) It ran up a support that is at an angle and then the vines 
make quite a heavy support. It was there a few minutes ago......lordy I hope 
we don't end up with the big rats again. They weren't pleasant things, It 
would challenge as we went in and out the house. We had to dispatch it I am 
afraid......I was most happy to see it go. There must be a book at the 
library I can get that has small creatures in it. Maybe I can find something 
there.
