The regular monthly meeting of the Blomidon Naturalists Society will be =20=

held Monday, November 19, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the =20
K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre in Wolfville.=A0 Special topic =20=

will be Farming Within Vibrant Ecosystems with Dr. Ralph Martin, Nova =20=

Scotia Agricultural College. The presentation will address the value of =20=

vibrant ecosystems and how consumers can support farmers who produce =20
food, fibre, and energy with respect for the integrity of ecosystems. =20=

Issues of economic growth, feeding the world, energy availability, and =20=

climate change will be considered. The possibilities for local and =20
organic food will be highlighted. Everyone is welcome.
