The 'food' with the least risk is a granulated white sugar/water mixture
(in a 6 to 1 water to sugar ratio) using boiled water to ensure that you
are feeding a sterile 'food'. I have seen references to using grape
juice instead of a sugar solution but be wary about using any juice that
might have had hanging around opened for a while. You can also try
putting out a small bowl of grape jelly to supplement whole grapes or
orange halves and the solution. Again, a fresh jar of jelly is
preferable to one that might of have been around for a while.

All the best,

Lance
