This morning in our yard, we had a small group of maybe a dozen evening
grosbeaks, 3 or 4 robins, and a few juncos, chickadees and a group of 7
bluejays. lots of mourning doves.
I drove to Carter's Beach and saw a big Heron in the marsh with the mud
flats as you come off the #3 and around the bend into Central. It was quite
strippy so I am thinking an immature?
Yesterday, Steve and I drove down to East/West Berlin and coming back in the
sunset we saw a heron flying and south between Beach Meadows and Brooklyn
then there was one in the Meadow Pond as you come out of Liverpool, this
way. This is a bit later than normal for them to be here, isn't it?
All in all, it is quite quiet here for the time period after a storm.
