Index of Subjects
Index of Subjects I made a brief visit to the area yesterday. The Canadas were landing in a cornfield at the end of Putnam Road. I didn't see any of the rare geese but an obvious Cackling Goose flew in with some Canadas. The geese seem to move their locations frequently but are quite easy to find as small groups fly in to join the others. There were a large number of "peeps" at Lower Debert Beach as the tide was receding. They were at a distance and I could only recognize Sanderling, Dunlin, Pectoral Sandpipers and Semipalmated Sandpipers. Don Don MacNeill donmacneill@eastlink.ca
