I think partial albino is an OK term, to distinguish it from a true albino,
which would have no pigments at all and pink eyes and flesh. But PIEBALD is
a term that is often used for these sorts of deer with pinto-esque patterns
of brown and white; they run the gamut from nearly totally white to almost
all normally coloured. And piebald deer are reported from most parts of the
province, I believe.

I said partially albino, but I don't really know the exact definition
of albino. This deer seems to have all the normal pigment around the
eyes and nose, etc. All I meant by partially albino is that it is
about 70% white. It looks a bit like my Australian Shepherd...
merled. Anyway it's beautiful.

Cheers,

Ann
