Pretty Narrow viewpoint!!!!
The mega quarry would have eliminated far more than 34 jobs and also
devastated the local environment. Fortunately the panel members were more
enlightened and forward thinking.
Congratulations to all who stood up to Bilcon and DNR!

Hi All, Oct 24, 2007
So that this will be relatively good new for all, I hope the Stop
the Quarry members will remain active, hire 34 people to not work in the
derailed quarry and donate the requisite salary and pension benefits for
the next 90 years or so.

Primary industry is the mainspring that drives an economy but
sufficient funds, contributed by concerned wealthy citizens, could act
as a substitute. This movement could even have a Lucky Strikish acronym:
CTT PTP (Call The Tune, Pay The Piper).

Yours truly, Dave Webster, Kentville
