Hummingbirds of the Americas

Illustrated Public Talk with Blake Maybank

Admission: Free -- Food Bank donations appreciated

Location: Nova Scotia Museum Auditorium

"Hummingbirds, diverse and compelling, make up a family of birds found
only in North and South America. They are mostly tropical, but a few
live in cooler climes, including the hardiest of all, the
Ruby-throated Hummingbird, the species familiar to feeder-watchers in
Nova Scotia. Join Blake Maybank, editor of "Nova Scotia Birds", and
author of "The Birding Sites of Nova Scotia", as he introduces you
the world of hummingbirds. (Sugar water not included.)"
