Hi, June and all. In response to June's "At Pond Cove, Lots of seals
playing in the cove", on Sept. 29 I was very surprised to count 75 GRAY
SEALS in Pond Cove -- I thought there were only about 30, but then just onc=
e
they all were at the surface at once and amazed me with their numbers (and
moans) -- the same evening at the Seal Ledges just west of the North Light
on Brier Island, there were about 5 HARBOUR SEALS, including one young one
(this year's?, by itself), and about GRAY SEALS (again moaning) at dusk.

Cheers :-) from Jim in Wolfville, 542-9204
