Last Sunday around noon I spent some time on Conrads Beach.
Lots of shorebirds are still hanging out on the beach, most are on the far end facing Lawrencetown.

A minimum of 150 Dunlins in various plumage stages were mostly resting on the beach (numbers up compared to the week before), Sanderling in similar numbers were more active chasing the waves.
Puzzling for a moment were a lot of White-rumped Sandpipers, many still in mostly crisp complete juvenile plumage. I seen maybe a handful the week before, a conservative estimate for Sunday would be 50+. Other shorebird species noted where Semipalmated Sandpipers, Least Sandpipers, and Semipalmated Plovers (fewer than the week before).
