Oct. 13, 2007 - A juvenile female N. HARRIER was seen in the Canard River Valley along Hwy. 358. Harris¹ Pond in Canning held 450 CANADA GEESE but not much else. IF YOU GO THERE, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE SHORTS ON! -- the briers of roses and blackberries will tear you up, and I lost a bit of blood!, but a nice sight and sound of the honking. And there were 15 GREEN-WINGED TEALS in the Ducks Unlimited riverside pond nw. of New Minas along Middle Dyke Road. Cheers :-) from Jim in Wolfville, 542-9204 --------------------- Jim (James W.)
