Hi,

Great article. I once wrote to the CBC complaining that the background sound
track in a serious documentary set in Russia was of N.Cardinals, Carolina
Wrens etc., and they did at least reply with a lame excuse. Did anyone see
The Scarlet Letter, filmed partly in Shelburne? There was a red finch-like
bird hopping around and sitting on Demi Moore (no comments please!) that was
a Scarlet Finch, native to the lower slopes of the Himalayas.
