Nothing spectacular around the Lunenburg area yesterday. The most activity=
that I found was at Crescent Beach with:
=20
Black-bellied Plover 20
Greater Yellowlegs 6
Semi-palmated Plover 59
Ruddy Turnstones 5
Dunlin 1
Red Knot 2
American Golden Plover 2
Least Sandpiper 20
White-rumped Sandpiper 5
Short-billed dowitcher 11
Willet 5
=20
There were 10 green-winged teal near Bush Island. Hundreds of mallards wer=
e present.
=20
I missed the good one as I was there in the heavy wind and rain. In the ev=
ening Clarence Stevens Sr. discovered a ruff.
=20
Also of note from the day before was a singing indigo bunting discovered by=
Shirley Cohrs at Green Bay, but this bird did not stick around.
