6 September 2007 A few shorebirds of note along the Eastern Shore today: female Ruff (Reeve) at Dottie's Pond. (~1400 hours) Stilt Sandpiper at Dottie's Pond (~1400 hours) Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Hartlen Point Golf Course (0900 hours), with two golden-plover. No Marbled Godwit or Little Egret, and no Hudsonian Godwits in Cole Harbour. Blake Maybank ................................................. Sept,6 7:30-8:00pm went to Three Fathom Harbour(Nirvana Farms) the marbled godwit was on the ocean side of the pond(got great looks as it flew and heard it calling as it was flying) 2 caspian terns but did not see the ruff(reeve)or the stilt sandpiper.
