Sept. 4) between 5 and 7 I watched a spouting whale off = of Western Head and was able to pick out a Sooty Shearwater. Later there = were 2 Greater Shearwaters hanging around what might have been the = whales "footprint". The silvery underwings of the Sooty Shearwater = gleamed as it banked. There were a couple of flying Phalaropes but I = could not ID them.
