A great day out with 55 species. The first exciting bird to be found by
Dorothy Poole, David Walmark and I was a black-backed woodpecker. This bird
was at the turn off for Fishermans Reserve, and by the Buy Memories Gift
Shop.

The little egret was still at Dotties Pond Today. There was no sign of the
Ruff (Reeve). We found the little gull adult on the flats just before
Conrad's Beach. The size differential was like night and day, and I noted
it right away as it flew in beside the other gulls.
