Hello, hello...

There was an insect hatching? this evening on the North West Arm in  
Halifax.  They reminded me of flying ants from a distance but not up  
close.  There were clouds of these circling insects floating down the  
Arm.  Eventually the Arm was covered with dead or dying bugs.  Anyone  
know what they were?  I have photos here:
