this time of year we try each day to see how many shorebird species we can find in one day.
johnny had 16 species today and each day we try we always miss some and get the other days species.
a couple of birders from away reported the forest on the cape had a red breasted nuthatch and a couple of wren species.
the next couple of weeks one of us should get 22 species or so.
its good fun and a challenge.
