The silence of the respected elders of our community on this matter is disconcerting. A member of this list had previously offered to set up a discussion group for Nova Scotia nature lovers on Yahoo that would offer both provide reliable service and a searchable database. I'll be among the first to join this group when it is established. My nature photography will continue to be available on my website http://www.hanstoom.com/ with recent photographs on the highlights loop http://www.hanstoom.com/Highlights/Highlights1.html. I've set up a portfolio of photographs on Pbase http://pbase.com/snahmoot to allow for a more continent wide distribution. I've also set up a Nature Photography in Nova Scotia list server http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturePhotographyNovaScotia/. This list is for nature photography only and for those folks that enjoy viewing the work of others. I'd set this up earlier in the year but kept silent in the hopes that NatureNS could provide reliable and respectful service. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.
