On Sunday, July 29, as we drove home from Halifax along Hwy. 102 at the Hammonds Plains exit, we saw an Osprey carrying quite a load of sticks. Seems late even for nest repairs??? This morning a N. Goshawk flew over the woods behind our house, accompanied by a few alarm calls, but mostly silence from all the other birds. Lois Codling, L. Sackville
