There are dozens, if not hundreds of Black Ducks that feed around the   
shores of St Margarets Bay and some raise their broods around Hubbards Cove and  at 
other locations around the bay. In our cove the water is brackish because of  
the river and is likely the same at the head of the bay where the rivers run  
in.
