I'd say the news is interesting to all involved except the song sparrow.

At Kejimkujik National Park, when they were banding brook trout with =
small meatl tags to note their movements, a tag was found on a boulder =
with mink droppings.=20

  Today there was a band recovery. My student Shannon is sorting prey =
remains from Saw-whet and Boreal Owl nests. From last year's local =
(Antigonish, NS) NSWO nest arose a passerine band =96 I sent the info in =
to the Bird Banding Lab and found out that the bird was a Song Sparrow, =
banded in South Carolina in November of 2001. Is that cool or what! I =
hope the original bander is just as excited me!=20
