I have a saucer magnolia which is approx. 6ft high and which was planted
5 years ago. For the past two springs many of the flower buds have had
small holes bored into them; some of these buds do not open at all and
the ones that do have deformed petals. I now notice that quite a lot of
the leaves have small, irregular holes in them - presumably these two
findings are connected... does anyone have suggestions as to what the
cause and best treatment might be?
Hopefully,
Eleanor Lindsay,
