Index of Subjects This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0003_01C7ABF5.6EE224C0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Its been busy near my deck of late with juvenile birds and their = parents, but mostly of the unappreciated types, namely = Grackles,Starlings and House Sparrows. Regardless, I have added a few = photos of them taken mostly through windows so as to not disturb them. Yesterday morning there was quite a contingent of gulls near the narrow = passage between McCormacks Beach Eastern Passage and Lawlor's Island. I = never did figure out what they were feeding on, but they were almost = completely submerging to reach it. About 3 three deer on the Island even = seemed curious as to what all the fuss was about and wandered over to = observe. I couldn't find any gulls that stood out at all yesterday, = other than a lingering 1st summer Black-headed Gull around Halifax = Harbour, last seen around 8:00 p.m. at Sullivans Pond on the small = Island with the totem pole and model lighthouse. Here is the first of 12 photos, some of which I had meant to post = earlier, #s 151 thru #162. Included is an unknown beetle that perhaps = Chris can help me put a name to it:=20 http://bernieb.smugmug.com/gallery/916397/10/105953573/Medium Bernard blburke@ns.sympatico.ca Dartmouth ------=_NextPart_000_0003_01C7ABF5.6EE224C0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2900.3086" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Its been busy near my deck of late with = juvenile=20 birds and their parents, but mostly of the unappreciated types, namely=20 Grackles,Starlings and House Sparrows.
