After a little searching, there was a pair flitting about in dense leaved out trees at the edge of our property. The F. was very dull, and I would have had a really hard time with the ID if it had been a lone, silent bird. Interestingly, both sexes were singing, with the M. being louder than the F. I don't think this is their usual breeding habitat, so I suspect they are just migrating "H" for the atlas. It's a fairly rare species for the Valley, and new for our yard. Aftr that, we went down a dirt road that leads to a pond, round the corner off Church St., and there - singing prominently, and occasionally visible, was a Warbling Vireo - presumably the same one that we had about 3 weeks ago.
