Just for the record - Peter's bird is a beautiful indigo bunting. He sent me 
a picture of it - a rather unusual out of focus picture, but the bird is 
certainly what he thought it was. It seems to be eating nyger seed - he says 
he is going to go out and camp on the front lawn so he can get a better 
picture of it. Peter is not a bird watcher, but he may be catching the 
fever. I told him I always thought the bird was usually seen in April and 
didn't stay to breed here - he wants to know where it is heading.
