The tide was high, and there was no high concentration of ducks anywhere. We were able to find 2 of the 5 Gadwalls (2m). We also ran into a mixed flock of warblers, consisting mostly of Northern Parula and Yellow-rumped, with one Blackpoll thrown into the mix. As we were leaving I flushed a brown-coloured falcon from one tree-top to another, and after checking my quick photos at home, it turned out to be a female Merlin.
