My wife hatched and released a batch of painted ladies last spring as a project with here grade 5 class - a great success with the kids as a learning experience. So we're wondering if it's advisable to repeat the experiment here and if so what type of equipment, conditions, and process would be required? If left outdoors under normal conditions will most likely hatch sometime in june. Peak flight time in NS is mid June with ranges from june 4 - july 11 in NS for H. cecropia. Cecropia has a broad distribution in NS and eclosure times vary from diff parts of province ie valley to CB. . Where are you located ??
