Index of Subjects Hi, Bob. On the spring Migration Count two years ago (around May 10), Bob McDonald and I did see a Piping Plover on Conrad Beach in Lawrencetown. A man we spoke to, who I think was from Dartmouth, was running his two dogs there off-leash (!). He told us he had just seen two Piping Plovers on the beach. This suggested to me that the birds still check it out, and would nest there again if there weren't so many people and dogs about.
