I asked for clarification from Ian Harte on the location of the Great Egret that he photographed in Cape Breton Wednesday. As it turns out, it is not in the Louisbourg area but in Catalone Gut, at a pond north of the Catalone Gut Road (i.e. between Catalone Gut and Mira Gut).

Here is Ian's description:
The egret was in Mira gut down to the left of NORTHSIDE Catalone GUT road by Tommy Dicksons House There is a small pond on the right side of the highway ( paved highway ) you take the first dirt road to your right and walk in 2 minutes and you will see the pond.

Cheers,
Susann
