Hi Jim, Joan and I took a mystery tour up from White Rock Sunday = evening and eventually arrived at the Lumsden Dam parking lot. I got out = of the car to enjoy the scene and I swore I heard a loon, but at a = distance and above the wash of the constant wavelets on the beach = wondered if I was hearing something else. There was out on the Pond = about a km away a white object I took to be a gull. Curiosity got the = better of me and I used my binoculars and saw the =B3gull=B2 flap both = wings above the surface in the form of a loon dance.
