I saw my first (single) Tree swallow tonight, feeding on insects over =
Pond Cove. A nice treat after a week of relentless ENE wind and high =
tides. It was like being in a wind tunnel. I also noticed six flocks of =
DC cormorants in a period of an hour headed NE. Otherwise, not =
surprisingly, very quiet for migrant birds.
