Hi All:
The activity is picking up here lately. Over the past week we have had two
visits from a Kestrel and both times he has gotten a Junco off of our lawn
and flown off with it. The Harriers are back and we are seeing a male and
an immature male hunting across the road from the house. On the 14th we
watched an Osprey sore over the brook ( which was swollen due to the heave
rain and a beaver dam) behind our house. There was a Red tailed Hawk along
the highway in Pubnico and others that I couldn't identify with the naked
eye.
The following is a list of yard and other birds seen in the last week or so.
