Great day for wildlife today!
Sea-kayaking here this morning: Lots of Eiders, long-tails and mergansers on the water here in New Harbour. The highlight of the day was coming up on two different pairs of Harlequin ducks while kayaking by Crown Point. They didn't seem too worried about the kayak so I floated about 20 feet from each pair for a few minutes.
My first GB Heron of the season on Friday at Mailman's farm by the Sanctuary.
Deer, bunnies, and pheasants everywhere today.
