Sorry, I could have provided more information. The attraction for the 
eagles is a rather large chicken operation nearby. There are always 
eagles in this area although the numbers may vary substantially from 
season to season. Also lots of natural habitat and that's why I expected 
I might find evidence of nesting. Is it a bit early for nesting here in 
Cape Breton?
