wildlife rehabilitation centre. Had the hawk lived..please pass on that he

  My uncle asked me to forward this report to naturens about seeing a
Red-tailed Hawk hit by a car today.



  “I am curious to see if this is as remarkable as I think it is?



  I saw the after effects of a red tail hawk going through a woman's
windshield outside of Truro on the 102. It smashed bang-on into her north
bound truck just before the Exit 13 overpass. The hawk careened over the New
Jersey barrier and ended up in the Southbound lane to Halifax!  I was going
too fast to stop safely, but the bird was last seen in the center of the
highway, obviously expired.”



  Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?
