Several walks through Hemlock Ravine Park on Friday (March 23rd) produced
one Brown Squirrel sighting and 5 chipmunks. Also 4 or 5 spiders congregated
on one log. I think it was between 10c and 12c at the time.

Bev Wigney kindly pointed out that they are probably Wolf Spiders of the
Pardosa genus.

Chipmunks for fun. The maintenance staff seems to enjoy sculpting
throughout the park.

Fungus I assume, unidentified. About the size of beads of water if that
helps for ID

Also Long Lake Park was busy with chipmunk chatter this morning, as well as
one squirrel sighting.
