Index of Subjects I, too, have had two Ruffed Grouse this winter. They arrive fairly regularly at my bird feeder area and occasionally I've seen them perched in my apple trees eating buds. I managed to get a photo of one of them. They are quite wary; once they see me, they quickly scurry away.
