This is mainly for those who are unfamiliar with the area of Sheffield Mills
and Canning etc. The best-known artificial feeding site (of Bill Swetnam --
is at the very north end of Middle Dyke Road, which is the road you get on
to the north when you get off Hwy. 101 at Exit 12? (New Minas/Kentville).
Keep driving north and following curves until you get to Hwy. 221 -- then
continue to the north for a few more kilometres until just before the road
ends -- to your right is a big open field surrounded by trees, and this is
your best bet initially at finding oodles of eagles (+ red-tails, ravens,
gr. black-b. gulls, etc.

Good luck.
