--=======AVGMAIL-45B7AA6A0666======= Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="=====================_30188578==.ALT"; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-52E27253 --=====================_30188578==.ALT Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-52E27253 I happened to notice another Nova Scotia island for sale: http://tinyurl.com/37tp3d This is Marr's Island, the southern-most island off Lower Prospect. It is sizable, but so is its price tag, even factoring in an overpriced coastal house and property included in the sale price. Larger Betty Island, lying immediately west, sold for under 200,000 just a couple of years ago. Prices sure are rising quickly. . . I hope the realtor can be trusted: despite what is stated in the island's description, it most certainly does not have "pine forests" -- though there are Balsam Fir and a few spruce. At these prices how does the Nova Scotia Nature Trust stand a chance in preserving coastal property?
