Hi Blake
From casual observation, no scientific counts, I would
say here at Martins Point they are comparable to other
years. They always seem to go back and forth to other
feeders in the area. Most are quite modest affairs. We
never have a lot but always some every day. Max about
10 - 12 I would say.
Folks who had been at Mason's Cabin in Keji told me
they saw a large flock go through one day - trees full
of them they descrided it. Next day none.
I have meet large flocks in the woods a few times.
Seems like they flocked together more this year.
I'll not go look in the woods today
Enjoy the rain - a good night to test out the latest
vitamin pills!
Paul
