Last night a friend phoned me to tell me that he was looking out his window at the profile of a Great Horned Owl sitting in a tree. This was just next to Fleming park (Halifax) near the boat ramp in one of the big trees near there. The owl was a clear outline with snow behind it. The snow plow came along and that made it move off. Heather Drope
