Hi All
Yesterday we were on Graves Island, the pussy willow
tree that always blooms earliest - is now in bloom.
The buds are well opened - quite early prehaps but it
is in a warm spot.
There is a bed of heather near there on a very
protected lawn. It is blooming very well - spectular
as it is nice purple. Not native to here but it has
lots of cousins who are.
We also saw a peregrine falcon fly by. There are lots
of ducks, grebes and so on in the area so no doubt was
looking for a meal.
Enjoy the winter
Paul
